THURSDAY

10:15am  VAUGHN PRINTING -- Curious how a book is printed, bound, covered, and
    ready for your church library??  Well, you see it on this tour! Length: 75 minutes.
1:30pm  SOUTHERN BAPTIST HISTORICAL LIBRARY & ARCHIVE -- As
    the official archives of the Southern Baptist Convention, see first hand Baptist artifacts and
    browse the library collection. Class-on-site: Tour will conclude with a 2 hour class on
    "Archival Principles."
1:30pm  NASHVILLE PUBLIC LIBRARY (DOWNTOWN/MAIN) -- Nashville
    is proud of its metro library system of branch libraries and it's crowning jewel, the main
    library downtown. Experience this facility from top to bottom ... the grand entrance;
    popular reading area; children's area and exhibit; and you will be reverently quite in the
    reference reading room with its vaulted ceiling!  Class-on-site: Tour will conclude with a 2
    hour class on "Resource Services for the Hearing Impaired."

FRIDAY

10:15am  VANDERBILT UNIVERSITY DIVINITY LIBRARY -- Weather
    permitting, tour group will walk one block to the campus of Vanderbilt University for a tour
    of the Divinity Library, one of several libraries on campus. Class-on-site:  Tour will
    conclude with a 30 minute class on "Religious Reference Resources."
12:45pm  DARGAN RESEARCH LIBRARY (LIFEWAY) -- Publisher for the
    Southern Baptist Convention, see the first floor exhibits areas of LifeWay's history and
    current resources.  Then, take a look around E.C. Dargan Research Library which houses
    a press collection of Sunday School Board/LifeWay product from the publisher's
    beginnings.  Class-on-site: Tour will conclude with a 2 hour class on "VBS and the
    Church Library."
12:45pm  TWO RIVERS BAPTIST CHURCH LIBRARY -- Get great ideas
    for your own church's library, as you browse the church library at Two Rivers Baptist!  
    Class-on-site:  Tour will conclude with a 2 hour class on "Promotion Activities."

TRANSPORTATION to tour sites will be provided via a comfortable mini bus. Tour groups
will be under the care of
Keith Mee, former Church Media Program staff at LifeWay Christian
Resources.!!

TOUR SIGN-UP sheets will be posted at the conference.  Tour sizes are limited, on a "first
come first serve" basis.
